The SLV Jazz Club is based in Colorado's San Luis Valley, and features some of the finest musicians in the area.  The base members include Drummer Matt Hurst, bassist Loren Buss, and singing pianist Allan Stuart. All three are members of the renowned SLV Big Band, a true 18 piece band in the tradition of Glenn Miler. 

     The Club plays Vintage Jazz, some blues and pop, a bit of country, and a lot of improv. Easy to dance to, and even easier for that 'easy listening' experience, the band features vocals for well known favorites, and tasteful instrumentals. The playlist includes classic Frank Sinatra & Rat Pack tunes, Jobim bossa novas, and favorites from Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and many others.

     The Jazz Club performs in the San Luis Valley, surrounding mountain communities, and Northern New Mexico.  

      The SLV Jazz Club adds players as needed, including saxes, guitars, trombones, and whatever else will fill the bill. They deliver a high level of musical performance packaged with a whole lot of musical fun. The Club fits in small venues, and expands to fill the biggest stage. Feel free to request your favorite tunes before an event, to be sure they are included, or make requests on the spot. The Jazz Club loves performing, and loves to interact with their audience.
