Yuletide Rose

   Yuletide Rose is Whimsy and Humour, Heart and Home. It has a joyful exuberance and a giving of thanks. There’s a bit of Mendelssohn and PDQ Bach, a taste of Gershwin, and an echo of the Boston Pops. There are new classical arrangements coupled with poignant improvisation, delicate string passages, stirring percussion, and expressive solo piano interpretations. 

    Many less well known and truly old carols are featured, such as Lo How A Rose Ere Blooming, Bring A Torch Jeanette, Isabella, and Carol Of The Birds. There are arrangements of well known holiday tunes like Silent Night, O Tannenbaum, and Jingle Bells, and a couple original pieces including the title track Yuletide Rose.

    Intellectually fulfilling with an inspirational flair, Yuletide Rose is a different and unique take on classic holiday music.
